For nearly fifteen years, the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts has been a means for partnering in the future of the arts, particularly through collaborations with other organizations that have potential for significant impact. The ultimate goal for most of its projects is self-sufficiency.
The Kenan Institute for the Arts seeks partners to work together to realize innovative and challenging initiatives and projects which correspond with the needs of the national arts landscape, while also maintaining significant partnerships locally and regionally.
No foundation, university institute or intermediary is functioning exactly the same way as the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts - we are proud of our history, while we look to be exciting, provocative, pro-active, responsive and flexible as we move forward into the 21st century.
